About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Lily Lang. I began to use this name when I started college in Texas. Prior to Lily, I was known as Yizhen or Little Sesame. Born in the beautiful mountain valley of Anji, I lived there until I was fifteen years old, which is when I moved to the bustling city of Hangzhou. Then, I lived a brief few years in Japan before finally settling in the U.S. where I’m a naturalized citizen.

I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration from East Carolina University; a week prior to my graduation, I started my first “real” job in the U.S. (https://www.linkedin.com/in/lilyylang/)

I was a daughter, a sister, an orphan, then a foster child back in China. Now a wife and mother of two, I live in North Carolina. I love to write, cook, and garden, as well as playing with our family’s fur baby, a Carolina Dog named Lumos Two.
